Johannesburg 15:00pm  Ntsumbedzeni Tshimangadzo  Former Sports, Arts and Culture Minister, Zizi Kodwa has resigned as a member of Parliament (MP) of the African National Congress (ANC). This follows criticism over Kodwa’s deployment to the National Assembly. According to the statement,  Secretary-General of the ANC, Comrade Fikile Mbalula, has received a letter from Comrade Zizi Kodwa formally communicating his resignation as a Member of Parliament. The letter is dated 24 July 2024 and the resignation is with immediate effect. “The African National Congress has accepted the letter, and wishes comrade Zizi well,” the party’s statement reads. Kodwa’s return to Parliament sparked anger among the public even from the ANC’s alliance partner, the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu). Only a few weeks after being accused of corruption, on June 25, the former Cabinet minister took the oath of office as an ANC member at the Good Hope Chamber in Cape Town. Were he ...

SOMIZI WAS WRONG TO PULBISH JOURNALIST'S CONTACT INFORMATION AND ASK HIS FOLLOWERS TO INVADE HER PRIVACY

Image
I agree with this statement Somizi was wrong to publish a journalist's contact information and ask his followers to invade her privacy he was wrong by doing that because she approached him for comment on allegations that he was divorcing his husband Mohale Motaung-Mhlongo. Instead of him respond to the substance question he let his ego and rip on the reporter’s, published their contact information on his Instagram. Journalist’s contact him in an effort to gain clarity on on-going rumours about his marriage to Mohale Motaung. Somizi should understand public interest in matters such as his marriage since he turned his marriage lifestyles into a showmax reality show and  many people had watched it. The journalists contact him to get her fact right before writing a story and that was exactly what she was doing by contacting him. Journalists whenever they report a story they use journalism work ethic is to seek for truth and report it to public, gather fact    and t...
