The one thing that people are not saying about gender based violence that we never hardly think of is that it not only about women and child, even man go through it, even male children go through it. Our society have this concept that they put on male children that they should man so by them being told they should man they a defined by who they should be or what they should not do, that’s why we can find an older woman at the age of 30 busy forcing herself a young boy at the age of 20 years.

According one of the performer who goes by the name of CeluMusa said he feel so honored to perform at such a respectful event, were we celebrate an Africa day and teach society about gender based violence focusing on both sexes because as society we turn to forget about men , it also important to to tech people that even man get abused not only women and children. I started singing and writing poetry at the age of 15 I never though one day I will stand here and share my vision alongside some of the very powerful poetry in our institution.

The poets are extremely talented, they were able to showcase their talent in a way that captured the true sense of African and they showcase the talent that our African youth has. I believe as an African we need be united, together we can make it.
